The Benčičes have had their hand in viticulture, raising livestock, and growing vegetables, and they were once famous in Trieste for their turnips and the turnip stew.
In 2007, they added agrotourism and accommodation to the list of their products and services. In the courtyard, guests will be treated to a range of Karst specialties, including prosciutto and salami, homemade bread, yota, gnocchi, or boiled dumplings. Their taste buds will be spoiled with a slice teran cake, washed down with a glass of teran or malvazija, or any of the many other typical Karst beverages, which are also available for purchase.
During their stay on the farm, guests can relax in the sauna or take a tour of the Kosmatica cave under one of the row houses in Filipčje Brdo.
